The installation »Aktenpresse« (2024) by Max Brück uses a vacuum pump to create composite panels from shredded paper collected from Hessian offices. The liquid extracted during the process, containing washed-out cellulose and printer ink, is used to produce a series of prints. The works are assembled in ten diptychs housed in wooden archive boxes. The thematic foundation of the installation is an exploration of the origins of organizational structures and the role of formal education in shaping them.
